Full course overview

Do you have an idea for an app (a members' area, a booking tool, a subscription platform, bespoke business software) but you can't code, and custom development costs several thousand euros? Today's AI tools let you build a real application, provided you know how to direct them. That is exactly what you will learn here. This course shows you how to build your web app with AI.

The promise

You will build and launch a complete, professional web application: sign-up and log-in, a secure database, card payments, an admin back office and your own domain name. You don't type the code: you steer the AI like a project manager, you check its work and you stay in control.

The method

The course follows an end-to-end project, from idea to launch. First you learn to write a clear specification, then to give precise instructions to Claude Code (or to Lovable and Bolt if you prefer working in the browser), to break the work into small steps, and to test and correct things when the AI gets it wrong. Every step is saved with GitHub, so you can always go back.

What you actually build

  • A polished, responsive interface that works on both computer and phone
  • User accounts and a Supabase database protected by access rules
  • Stripe payments, one-off or subscription, tested and then switched to live
  • A back office to manage users, content and sales
  • Launch on your own domain name, with backups and monitoring

You also tackle what many tutorials leave out: security, GDPR, testing, maintenance and real costs, so you can launch a serious tool that lasts.

Who is it for?

Entrepreneurs, freelancers, trainers, creatives and project owners with no technical skills at all. If you can use a web browser and create an online account, you can follow this course.

What's included

More than 50 videos across 11 modules, the code for the end-to-end project, a specification template, a prompt library, security and compliance checklists, exercises, quizzes and a certificate of completion.

This course is in preparation. Modules open progressively: enrol now and you will receive your access by email when it opens, then each new module as soon as it goes live.

Your web app: going further

To go further, Build your professional website with AI lays the foundations before you build a web app. Then, if your project also needs a phone version, see Build your own native app. Finally, MDN Web Docs remains the reference to understand how a web app works.

Who is it for?

  • Entrepreneurs and freelancers who want to create their own online tool or service
  • Project owners who want to test a software idea before investing in development
  • Trainers, coaches and creatives who want to offer a members' area or a paid service
  • Managers of small organisations who want a bespoke internal tool
  • Anyone curious about AI who wants to move from chatting to actually building

Prerequisites

  • No programming skills are needed
  • A computer (Mac or Windows) with a stable Internet connection
  • Being comfortable browsing the web, using email and creating online accounts
  • A small budget for tools (an AI subscription of around €20 a month; most other services have a free plan)
  • An idea for an app, or the desire to follow the end-to-end project provided
